TITLE: Department Manager / 3H ORGANIZATION: Customer Operations DEPARTMENT: Strategic Applications EXPIRES ON: 2/16/2018 JOB CODE: 17-1088 Qualifications: Customer Operations seeks a highly motivated and dedicated Department Manager for its Operations and Applications Support group. This position requires that the candidate have experience ensuring compliance with corporate procedures, managing projects, and coordinating cross functional activities. Candidate must also have at least 5 years of managerial experience, including management and developing employees... Expertise and experience in systems development and design, including knowledge of technologies and applications development, and an established record of implementing system enhancements is also preferred. Must have strong analytical skills and excellent written and oral communications skills. A Bachelor s degree is required A Master's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration is desirable. Responsibilities: The Department Manger will direct a staff of specialists who plan for system modifications through the development of business rules and detailed specifications, testing of programs, and implementation of enhancement and modifications. Systems governed by these activities include: the Customer Service System (CSS), The Oracle Customer Care and Billing system, Meter Data Management System and other existing or new Customer Operations systems and products which perform the various business critical functions of customer operations. In addition, the Department Manager will guide Customer Operations actions and policies related to Cyber Security and securing customer related personally identified information. The above activities will support operational goals, productivity and efficiency improvements developed by the Department Manager, as well as compliance with incentives, rules and standards mandated by regulatory agencies. Will require managing, counseling and developing department personnel, developing schedules to monitor projects and progress, directing the coordination of all activities with other internal and external groups, and continued evaluations of all systems, hardware, software and programs to determine impact on current and future applications. Will also serve as Chairperson of the Standing Rate Change Committee and coordinate the implementation of all rate, tax and bill calculation changes.
